Parents and Friends Association

The Parents and Friends (P&F) Association of St Edmund’s College was established in 1963 and plays a crucial role within the College community.

It serves several key functions, including providing a platform for communication and the exchange of ideas between parents and the College Leadership Team on all matters related to the College. The P&F also facilitates opportunities for students to engage socially with other students in the Ipswich community, ensuring these interactions occur in a safe and controlled environment. Furthermore, the Association helps improve the facilities available to students and undertakes maintenance projects that fall outside the College’s regular budget.

Additionally, the P&F supports the ministry of Edmund Rice by assisting the poor and marginalised and creates opportunities for parents to connect socially, contributing to the strong sense of community that has developed within the College over the years.

The P&F meets once each term, with the date announced on the College calendar. All members of the College community are welcome to attend, even if it’s just for one meeting. By participating, you can share concerns and suggestions and take part in the decision-making processes of the College. For contact details, please reach the College Reception on 3810 4400.

In the spirit of reconciliation, St Edmund’s College acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
