Foundation

In the process, generations of young men have achieved personal success socially, physically and academically in a Christian culture.

The St Edmund’s College Foundation was established to assist the College Board in raising funds to maintain and improve the facilities and operations of St Edmund’s College in accordance with the Master Plan and to develop the broader interests of the College community.

The Foundation is an avenue through which the entire College community – current parents, past parents, old boys, members of staff, friends and supporters – can support the College’s aim to create a pathway of growth for its students. This support will ensure that St Edmund’s students continue to become those people who make a difference in society, in whatever capacity they live and work.

How you can support the College Foundation

Building Fund

The College Foundation Building Fund is the means through which the College can provide for the future needs of our students. Ongoing support by parents and the wider community is crucial to the development of infrastructure at the College, ensuring that students are offered the best learning opportunities in first class facilities.

Bequest Program

A Bequest is a gift and can be either named or anonymous. It is an instruction contained within a will and specifically reserves part of an estate for a particular beneficiary. Bequests can be made in various ways to reflect a person’s specific wishes. They can be defined as personal assets such as shares or bonds, fixed sums or simply a percentage of an estate. Bequests are typically directed to the College for its use at discretion. These unencumbered gifts allow the College to utilise donations in areas of particular need. Such gifts provide us with the flexibility to direct funds to projects that the Foundation feels are in the greatest need of assistance.

A bequest is an opportunity for you to make a tangible and lasting gift. It remains a very special way of securing the future.

In the spirit of reconciliation, St Edmund’s College acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
