From maker projects and study zones to clubs, classes, and creative challenges, the College library sparks curiosity, imagination, and a passion for learning.

Our science labs are designed for discovery! With high-tech classrooms, hands-on practical zones, and temperature-controlled rooms for long experiments, students can dive deep into real science. Independent controls, safety gear, and great design make every lab safe, dynamic, and the perfect place to explore, experiment, and innovate.

The Industrial Design Centre is where big ideas take shape! From metal and wood workshops to graphics labs and construction spaces, it’s a playground for inventors and creators. Students get to design, build, and experiment in a state-of-the-art space made for innovation and adventure.

The Automotive Centre is an incredible place for students to gain hands-on experience with real-world skills! This state-of-the-art facility includes five service bays, an engine assembly room, a small engine workshop, a CAD lab, learning spaces, and even a working shop front. Here, students will have the ultimate opportunity to explore automotive technology, design, and innovation!

A new Performing Arts Centre is currently being built. It is expected to be completed in late 2026.

The Edmund Rice Building at St Edmund's College in Ipswich is the original structure housing the principal and administration team, along with the main reception.
