Defence Transition Program

St Edmund’s College Defence Transition Program provides support to Australian Defence Students and their families. The Defence Transition Program helps to minimise the impact the mobile lifestyle has on Defence student’s education. The aim of the program is to welcome Defence students, helping them integrate into our college community. The Defence Transition Mentor (DTM) supports students and families during this time as well as when a family may experience an extended absence due to operational reasons.The Defence Transition Program is funded by the Department of Defence and the DTM is employed by individual schools. Communication is welcomed and will enable the best support services to be provided ensuring a happy and productive experience at St Edmund’s College.
