Queensland Rail Citytrain has a range of Super Saver School Passes for school students.

Annual / Semester Rail Passes:
Students pay only 20% of the normal adult fare when they pre-purchase an annual or semester pass.

Term Passes:
Students pay 25% of the normal adult fare when they pre-purchase a term ticket.

One Way Rail Passes:
A student who only requires a one way train trip travelling in the one direction, can obtain a pass which is discounted to half the price of the usual semester or term Pass.

Daily, Weekly and Monthly Tickets:
Students can purchase any of Citytrain’s range of daily, weekly, monthly, 3 monthly, 6 monthly and 12 monthly tickets for one third of the normal adult fare.

Rail Travel Assistance:
Families may be eligible for fully funded travel assistance from the Queensland Government if you receive:

Family Payment Above The Minimum Level : Youth Allowance
Abstudy : Care and Protection Order
Service Pension (with dependent child/student add on)
