Situated 35 minutes drive from the heart of Brisbane city, St Edmund’s College has been one of the regions finest boys’ Colleges since 1892. St Edmund’s promotes an inquiring mind, a spirit of giving and a sense of community responsibility. Students learn to set goals on personal and academic levels and pursue them through access to the best learning aids. The latest in information and communication technology is employed to maximise each student’s potential in the Information Age.

At St Edmund’s College an extensive range of sports and activities is offered in the co-curricular program. A full range of cultural activities complements the College’s academic and sporting programs. St. Edmund’s College recognises the individual qualities of every young person. The College treasures its many and varied international friendships built up over a long period of international educational exchange and even has a sister campus agreement in Shanghai China. Consequently the College understands the needs of International Students and has a strong support network of support for them. The College even organizes special recreational and holiday activities and tours for its international students to such places Australia’s world famous Gold Coast which is just one hour’s drive from the College.

Importantly International Students of St Edmund’s College can progress to tertiary studies at the University of Queensland Ipswich Campus which is five minutes from the College. St Edmund’s College boasts a unique Articulated Studies Agreement with the University of Queensland which provides a pathway for its students from School direct to University. UQ Ipswich specialises in Business Management, Electronic Commerce, Information Environments, Multimedia Design, Technology and Education graduate degree courses and postgraduate courses.

International students are offered a wide ranging high school curriculum at theCollege as well as special bridging courses towards university entrance. Special language support is available in all curriculum subjects.
