Social Justice Group

Students who become involved in Social Justice Group participate in various activities that benefit themselves and the wider community, which our charitable endeavors support. Students from year 8 to 12 gather to:

  • Learn about justice and injustice; hearing about specific projects
  • Plan action to respond to these injustices
  • Learn about advocacy and its role in bringing justice to the world.

In addition to this justice education we actively fundraise for:

- Little Kings Movement
- St Vincent de Paul
- Shave for a cure
- Ipswich Hospice
- World Vision
- ANZAC Day badges
- Rosies Street Retreats

We also visit the children’s ward of the Ipswich Hospital, to spend time with the sick and injured and to give small presents to make the stay of the patients a little more enjoyable.
